The Righteous Shall Rejoice!

In reading scripture this morning in the book of Proverbs, I read of how the righteous man shall find peace, happiness, blessings and all the glory that Christ can give, freely, lovingly and truly; however it is also so very true how the wicked shall suffer, loss due to the evil desires and sinful ways that lead them on to cause destriuction on everything they touch. I feel this chapter of Proverbs explains to us all the need to follow Christ. To open our hearts and souls to his love so that the wages of righteousness shall bring to us life everlasting.
                                          Proverbs- 10-1:7
A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.
Ill begotten treasures are of no value, but righteousness delivers from death.
The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.
He who gathers crops in the summer is a wise son,
but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
Blessings crown the head of the righteous,
but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
The memory of the righteous will be a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will not.

As I read this scripture this morning, my heart began to ache for the wicked, for those who have lost their way.  It is not hard to be a follower of Christ for he ask of us very little. There are ten, yes ten simple commandments that are his rules for living a good life and it seems that these are the hardest set of rules ever written to man.Remember them, 1.You shall have no other gods before me. 2. you shall worship no graven image. 3. You shall not take the name of the Lord in vain. 4. Keep the Sabbath Holy. 5. Honor your mother and father. 6. Shall not commit murder 7. shall not commit adultery 8. Shall not steal. 9. Shall not lie against thy neighbor. 10.You shall not covet thy neighbors belongings. Please tell me why it is so hard to obey something so simple. The answer is quiet simple. It is called temptation, the devil keeps temptation in the back of our minds from the time we are old enough to understand the basics of right and wrong. He begins working on our minds when we are just toddlers, we begin to become stubborn, lie, become greedy, all of the things we shouldn't do he begins to instill into our tiny little brains at the point of our most precious years of innocence in hopes that he will prevail and we will become his followers of wickedness. If we have good loving parents they immediately step in and begin to quickly teach us that that kind of behavior is unacceptable and that it is better to be kind and loving that to be bad and ugly for that makes Jesus very sad. We teach our children the story of Jesus and how he gave up his life to save us from this world of sin and we hope and pray that as they grow they will continue to follow the Lord and the path in which he has laid for each and everyone one of us. To be grow into an adult who lives in a kind and loving Christian manner gives us a feeling of such joy in knowing that he is with us every step that we take now and throughout all eternity. Let us pay. Dear Lord, Thank you for this beautiful morning, let us pray that it be a prosperous day, that the sick shall be healed, the lost shall be found and the wicked shall be saved by finding you Lord. Help us all to grow spiritually and to do as you would have us to do Lord. That your will shall be done through each and everyone of us who open our hearts and souls to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..

Question of the day!  Do you think God has a sense of humor?
